The Fish Tank
Georgie looked in the fish tank in a restaurant. The fish in there were going to be killed and cooked.
She locked eyes with one of them, as she watched them drift and float up and down in that crowded fish tank.
“They seem so… hopeless. I wonder what they are thinking…”

“Oh no! A net!” A fish yelled.
“Yeah, I heard about this before! A friend of friend of friend escaped from that and told my friend of friend about it,” Another fish said to the fish who yelled.
They tried to swim away as fast as they could, but they got caught.
“Well, your friend of friend of friend escaped right?”
“Yes, but that was very rare. He jumped away from the net when he reached the top.”
“We can try that?”
They swam to the top. They started to surface and tried to wriggle and jump away from the net, but the sides were too high.
“I…Think…We… Are… Going… To…” The fish gasped.
“Yes…”
The fisherman got the fish and put them in a large container with water. The fish gasped and finally breathed again.
“So, your friend of friend of friend survived?”
“Well, he got caught the next time,” The fish said.
“Oh…”
They felt some vibrations in the water.
“Are we being transported?”
“I think so?”

They arrived and got transported to a glass fish tank. They looked outside and saw people walking around hurriedly, between tables and chairs.
The fish were so close to each other that they were basically touching each other.
“Get away from me!” “No, you!” “Ahh!!” “Stop that!”
Suddenly, a net came in and took a fish out.
“NO!!!!!!!!”
The two fish who were talking looked at what was happening.
“So, what is your name?”
“Does it matter? We are going to be dead, fish.”

After a long time, the fish stopped struggling.
The fish who asked questions was taken away a few days ago. The other fish was still striving, in the fish tank.
Suddenly, a girl appeared in front of the fish tank.
“I wonder what she is thinking…” The fish locked eyes with the girl, “Are you coming to take me?”
