Friend/Crush

She realised that he loves her, and she is getting married to his best friend the next morning.

Oh, how foolish can one be? As she knew deep in her heart, she liked him from the beginning, and loved her fiancé later.

But she knew no matter how well they get along, her connection with her fiancé could not be broken, as they experienced a lot, and made a promise to one another.

A crush wouldn’t last anyways.

He cried as he watched her get married to his best friend, knowing maybe things will be different if he admitted it sooner.

Oh, but will things be different? Could the crush turn into a relationship? Who could’ve known? Who would’ve known?

His plus one was on his side, looking at him and smiling. She thought that he was touched by the atmosphere of the wedding.

Maybe she was naïve, or maybe she just refused to see it clearly, to realise her date could be crying for another reason.

He wiped his tears as he sighed.

A friendship usually lasts longer anyways, and he is willing to keep that, to stay there, just for a bit longer.
